Greater Productivity

Caterpillar’s proven Z-bar loader linkage combined with performance series buckets and standard dump clearance delivers excellent digging capabilities and strong breakout forces. An optional Cat Fusion™ quick-coupler control offers a selectable kickout to adjust for efficient bucket and fork applications, allowing the Cat 950 GC to use a number of work tools. The Cat® C7.1 engine boosts power density with proven electronic, fuel, and air systems.

Low Fuel Consumption

Our load-sensing hydraulics produce flow and pressure for the implement system upon demand and only in amounts necessary to perform the needed work functions, resulting in less fuel consumption. The Engine Idle Management System (EIMS) and Auto Engine Idle Shutdown (EIS) work together to maximize fuel efficiency by reducing engine RPM after a specified amount of idle time. The Cat 950 GC wheel loader is also equipped with an electronically controlled countershaft, power-shift transmission and split flow oil system for efficiency, durability, and smoother gear changes.

Easy Operation

Low-effort, pilot-operated controls, along with optional joystick implement control, include an integrated kick-down switch and remote directional shift switch for easy use. The intuitive control system offers simple machine monitoring and easy loader operation, even for operators with only a few hours in the seat. Our air conditioning system is standard and ten louvered vents direct the air flow, keeping operators productive and efficient all day long.

The spacious cab with a large roof-to-floor, distortion-free flat glass front windshield, exterior mirrors, and rearview camera provide excellent visibility for all-day operation in a comfortable working environment. Ladders and integrated handrails are also located on both sides of the machine, providing safe access to the cab or to service the engine air filter from a platform.

Designed with convenient serviceability features, the Cat 950 GC wheel loader makes in-field component exchange quick, easy, and efficient. Hydraulic and electrical service centers provide ground-level access to grouped service points to reduce maintenance time and extend the life of your machine. A rear swing-up grill also gives easy cleaning access to the radiators, filters, sampling ports, and cooling cores.
